Comprised of seemingly unfinished turnings, "Elegantly Unfinished," is a series of vessels whose forms are derived from commonly used proportional systems. Though unfinished in form, they function in a perfectly normal fashion. The concept is born from a fascination with unfinished objects, and the glimpse they give into the creators' process: from the subway tunnels underneath Cincinnati, to Da Vinci's "St. Jerome in the Wilderness" seen in the Vatican.
